About Last August Events

Last August Events was born from a love of flowers, beautiful celebrations and bringing people together. With over eight years of experience in the events and styling industry, our journey began through our flower wall and prop hire business, where we had the pleasure of working on corporate events, brand activations, fundraisers and special occasions of all kinds.

Born from a love of flowers and bringing people together.

As our passion for weddings and meaningful celebrations grew, so did our vision. That's when Last August Events was created, allowing us to focus on what we love most: weddings, tea ceremonies, fresh florals, and creating unforgettable moments for our couples and clients.

With formal floristry training and years of hands-on experience in event styling, we bring both creativity and expertise to every celebration. From elegant bridal bouquets and ceremony florals to large-scale installations and thoughtfully styled spaces, we believe flowers have the power to transform an event and tell a beautiful story.

As a family-owned business, we take pride in offering a personal and thoughtful experience from start to finish. We believe every celebration tells a unique story, and we're passionate about bringing that story to life through beautiful styling, florals and attention to every detail.

Rooted in tradition

A note from Julie

I'm Vietnamese-born, so tea ceremonies have always been part of the celebrations I know and love: families gathering at home, tea offered to parents and elders, and the blessings that come with it.

I also know how much goes into planning one. There are two families' traditions to bring together, an altar to set just so, gifts to prepare, and a morning that runs to a tight schedule before the rest of the wedding day begins. It can feel like a lot, especially when you want to get it right for the people who matter most.

That's why our Tea Ceremony Collection is so close to my heart. We look after the styling and set-up, and we understand the meaning behind every piece, so you and your families can simply be present for the moment.
